Thomas D. Ferro, M.D., FAAOS
Dr. Ferro has over 25 years of total knee arthroplasty operation experience. A board certified surgeon with licensure in California. Dr. Ferro is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and has contributed many published research studies on bone and joint issues. He has served as the Medical Director of orthopedics and joint replacement institutes for multiple centers and hospitals. Dr. Ferro holds an MD degree from University of California, San Diego. Dr. Ferro earned an additional fellowship in joint replacement and adult reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Anderson Orthopaedic Research Institute in Arlington, Virginia.
Maria comes to Applied Orthopedic Design, Inc. with more than 25 years of experience in business development, strategy, and sales. She began her business career as an investment banker on Wall Street working at Goldman Sachs, then moved into an entrepreneurial role as one of the founders of a software company where she served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Team work, clearly defined expectations, open communications and consistent branding are hallmarks of her work style and career successes. Maria graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana, with a BS in Industrial Psychology and then went on to earn an MBA from the University of Southern California.
